The Spanish composer and pianist Javier Vizcaíno began to study music in a self-taught way at the age of seven, and he soon decided to study piano. He moved to Murcia to study at the Conservatory with the prestigious teachers Antonio Narejos and Miguel Luis Losada, finishing his studies with the highest grades. He expands his piano technique with masters Diego Cayuelas (Madrid) and Giuseppe Scotese (Rome) among others.
Later he studied Composition (Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue, Analysis, History of Music and Orchestration) at the Superior Conservatory of Murcia with composers Javier Artaza, Sixto Herrero and David Mora among others. He has also received classes from the composers Antón García Abril, Tomás Marco, Samuel Adler, José María Sánchez Verdú.
He has offered numerous concerts performing his own works both solo piano and in various chamber music groups.
His musical production includes works for piano, ensembles of different formations, chamber music, organ music, choir, orchestra, electronic music.
