Joan Chamorro (bass, baritone, tenor, alto and soprano saxophones, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, cornet, double bass) Founder and director of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band (2006-2020). Promoter and artistic producer of the “Joan Chamorro presenta” collection starring some of the young talents who are or have been part of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band: Andrea Motis, Eva Fernández, Magali Datzira, Rita Payés, Marc Martín, Joan Mar Sauqué , Bastlia Bastida, Joan Codina, Carla Motis, Joana Casanova and the project La màgia de la veu.

Joan Chamorro has recorded more than 70 albums, of which more than 30 are under his leadership. He plays in most of the country’s jazz festivals and has also toured Japan, South Africa, Portugal, Brazil, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Poland, Turkey, Latvia, Estonia, Belgium, England, Tangier, New York, Boston, etc. .
